About Nadia

Nadia Laurent is a corporate and intellectual property lawyer with more than twelve years of practice. She advises founders, families and creative businesses on the agreements and decisions that shape them, and is known for clear advice and calm negotiation.

She is also a working artist. Her paintings and works on paper explore balance, restraint and light, ideas she first met across the negotiating table. Her work has been shown in eight exhibitions and is held in private collections.

Both practices ask for the same discipline: read carefully, look closely, and leave out whatever does not serve the whole.

Law taught me to read what is written. Painting taught me to see what is not.

How she works

Every matter runs through the same four steps. Each step holds the one before it, the way the squares nest.

  1. Step 1

    Consultation

A 30-minute conversation to understand the matter and what you need.

  2. Step 2

    Strategy

A written plan with clear options, timelines and a fee estimate.

  3. Step 3

    Action

Drafting, negotiation or representation, with regular updates.

  4. Step 4

    Resolution

Close-out, a summary of what was agreed, and support afterwards.

Her paintings carry the same restraint as her arguments. Nothing is wasted and nothing is missing.
